CORPORATE CHECKPOINT
More Babylon! This time we see Jeff Snider as a Corporate Soldier at a street level checkpoint. You don't want to be carrying any contraband into the Corporation controlled areas.
STREET ORACLE
After a long delay we're back on Babylon. Sorry to those who have waited a bit too long for an update. Here's the beautiful Farrah Ferguson as a Street Oracle. The background characters are played by Jeff Snider, Nick Iannitti (X2) and the always amazing Bianca Black. More artwork coming soon!

Corporate Assassin
The beautiful Jodie Wight as a genetically enhanced killer on the streets of San Angeles.
We're reaching the end of our principal photography and will start into heavy production in the next couple of weeks. There's going to be a pile of artwork, writing and a few surprises along the way. Come and support us as we create our first illustrated novel!

Transport Pilot
One of the joys of creating the Babylon project has been experimenting with various combinations of photographs, 3D model work, and a variety of artistic processes. This is a shot of a Transport Pilot guiding his ship in towards the city at dawn.

Houston the Hacker
The incredible Nick Iannitti as Houston the Hacker! We had an amazing time working with Nick - he is an absolute blast and one hell of a talented actor! We can't wait to work with him again.

Test Page
This is a test page showcasing one of the art styles we will be utilizing throughout the graphic novel. This will not be the final art. Trisha Thompson beats the hell out of Babylon Smith on a rooftop at the opening of the book.

A Look Back...
We were inspired to do the Babylon Smith graphic novel by comic legend Timothy Bradstreet. His cinematic style and amazing design work really made us sit up and take notice. We have followed his incredible career for over twenty years.
This is the image that started it all. It was an early attempt at creating a ‘Bradstreet style’. We have since developed our own illustrated style for the book but the influence of Bradstreet is never far away. This image was originally shot in 1996 and was subsequently reworked in 2008. Our old friend Jeff Snider is the model (he also provided the costuming and props). We shot this in Paul’s living room with a desk lamp and a crappy disposable camera. Inks on the soldier were provided by Kelly Dodd. The background is a composite made up of hydro lines shot in Quebec and buildings shot in Vancouver.
Credits List
This is the current credits list for Babylon Smith. We will probably be adding a few more names to the mix as we get the last of the roles filled.

3D Modeling
In addition to the photo-illustration techniques we'll be using in the graphic novel we'll also be incorporating some 3D model work as well for some of the non-human characters and futuristic environments. This is a test shot of a Corporate cyborg standing guard at one of the robotic facilities.
Fight!
This is a panel from a brutal fight scene near the opening of the graphic novel. Trisha Thompson (as the TOUGH WOMAN) delivers a punishing kick to Babylon!
Behind the Scenes - Montreal
Behind the Scenes in Montreal with our friends Bianca Black, Danielle Hubbard, Richard Cardinal and Jenn Medusa Pop. This was an amazing shoot (note the tiny space we were working in).
The Goddess
A drunken confession. Babylon talks to the Face of the Goddess. Babylon is played by Paul Green and Robin Dostaler plays the Goddess.
